Hands On Fishing
HANDLINE FISHING LESSONS & TOUR
MAX TOUR SIZE 4 PEOPLE
MINIMUM TOUR SIZE 2 PEOPLE
TRY YOUR HAND AT TRADITION TODAY!
Handlining is among the oldest forms of fishing and is commonly practiced throughout the world today. Handline fishing, or handlining, is a fishing technique where a single fishing line is held in the hands & one or more fishing lures or baited hooks are attached to the line.
On this EXCLUSIVE excursion you will learn to fish like the locals have for hundreds of years! You can still spot some here on the island in their wooden canoes using anything from plastic bottles to pieces of wood to wrap their lines around.
You will be taken out by boat, taught how to use the lines and start with some trolling. While trolling we are looking for Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo and Barracuda. If you hook something you will feel the rush by pulling a fish in with your hands!!
After that we will try your hand at some deep sea still fishing. Lines typically run down to about 200 ft with fresh bait and you never know what you might pull up!! You can actually feel the fish bite the line.
Get away from the crowds!! We have VERY PRIVATE groups here. A minimum of 2 and a MAXIMUM of 4 people per trip so you really get a chance to get Hand's On with the lines and the fish!!
LOSE THE ROD, USE YOUR HANDS, FEEL THE RUSH!
