Our morning tour is designed for guests arriving to Roatan by cruise ship. It is scheduled to help you make the most of your day here. Tour times vary depending on your cruise ship arrival times.
Your excursion with us begins at the cruise terminal. Our representative will be waiting for you right outside the cruise terminal with a sign with your name on.
From there you will have a short ride on a Van to the small village of West End, where you will board the 30 foot Gabriel large enough to carry 30 people, but limited to max 20 per trip, you will not have to worry about overcrowding like many of the other boats doing the same tour. The tour is scheduled with two snorkeling stops, one of them being the world famous Blue Channel. After the second snorkeling stop you will be brought to a beautiful beach where you can relax on a lounge chair or have a snack (at your cost) at a local restaurant.
You will be driven back to the cruise terminal after 4 hours in perfect time to get back on your ship.

"Amazing Coral and Great Snorkeling Trip!"
Upon leaving the cruise port (you have to walk a little bit up and down a hill) we were greeted by Javier, our driver who took us to West Bend where we met our guides Alex and Javi. Due to a cancellation my husband and myself were the only ones on the entire boat! Our guides took us to the Blue Channel which had the most amazing coral I have ever seen! Javi, led us through the channel and even showed my husband a cave that he could swim through. I chose this tour because I noticed a lot of other companies didn't mention this spot and I was right. We only saw a few other snorkel groups in the distance but it felt like we had the whole ocean to ourselves. Although we didn't see any turtles :( we did see hundreds of colorful fish, a few lobsters and an octopus. Since we were the only ones on the tour Alex let us try out this diving apparatus that was tied to the back of the boat where we could dive down and do flips while being dragged behind the boat. It was a lot of fun and an experience that I don't think could have ever been duplicated with a large tour group. We then went to another snorkeling spot where the water was unbelievably blue and turquoise. It was truly breathtaking. Alex then dropped us off at their friends Argentinian Grill and arranged for our driver to pick us up after we ate lunch on the water. If you want a local, safe, personal and fun snorkel trip this is the company to go through. The free beer at the end was great too! Thanks for a wonderful trip and we will definitely be back!
What a perfect day! From the moment they picked us up at the port, I knew it was going to be fun. Fresh fruit and beer on the boat, and excellent, EXCELLENT guide service. They took us away from a lot of the other snorkeling groups, which was nice. They swam in the water with us and pointed out all sorts of neat marine life that might have otherwise been overlooked. You are allowed plenty time to swim and explore- and I never felt rushed! Even saw a sea turtle :)
"Snorkeling in Roatan"
We were picked up by a van just outside the cruise dock and taken to the dock, a short ride, where we meet Alex and boarded our boat. There were only 10 folks on board making for a very comfortable excursion. Our first stop was an excellent place for viewing a wide variety of fish and coral. We swam between two reefs which were close together making viewing of the coral exciting. Alex and crew provided great instructions for safe and fun snorkeling. We move to another area and continuing snorkeling in another area next to a large drop off. Afterwards we went to West Bank where we enjoyed the beach and a great restrarunt (on your on $). We were then taken back to the dock where we boarded a van and taken back to the cruise dock. I strongly recommend using Roatan Echo Tours. It was fun for beginners and seasoned folks. If you don't have a camera don't worry as Alex takes pictures and posts them on his web site. The tour lasted about 5 hours.
"The snorkel of a lifetime! Best excursion of cruise!"
This was an awesome snorkeling excursion at the beautiful island of Roatan. My family and I visited while on a cruise back in August. Alex and Javi were very nice and professional about everything. They showed us amazing marine life including a sea turtle! It was very nice because our group was only 2 families so everything was much more personable. After the snorkeling it was nice to relax and get to just drink a few beers with Alex and Javi and talk about their stories and how the lifestyle is on the island. I would recommend this excursion to anyone! Best personal snorkeling tour in Roatan.
We were on a cruise and had booked Eco tours prior to getting on the boat. This is a first class snorkeling experience. From the time we were picked up at the port until our return everything was first class. The snorkeling in the Westend was spectacular and our guide Javier and Martin were wonderful. My family would definitely like to do this again.
"Best day of our vacation!!! Awesome snorkeling and super nice people!"
We booked this one day trip in Roatan with Alex's company and was the best thing we did in our 14 days of vacation. It was an awesome the experience and we gonna go back there in our next vacation. Very well organized, the best pineapple we ever ate and the most beautiful fishes in the world. Alex and his team were super professional and friendly.
"Snorkeling Trip for Cruise Passengers"
This is a top class snorkeling trip and outfitter. We enjoyed the trip so much! Thanks, to Alex and Javier, for the guidance, advice, and fun while snorkeling. The snacks and drinks, refreshing! The beach, also, very beautiful!
"Amazing Snorkeling, Best tour guides!"
Our group of 6 booked a tour with Alex as an alternative to the cruise excursion. The tour exceeded our expectations. We arrived early for the tour, because "Cruise Time" is different from Roatan time (oops). Even though we were an hour early, Alex was there waiting. He even arranged a van to take us over to West End Beach while he waited for other guests. We went to two different sights and experienced really fantastic snorkeling. I've been snorkeling at least 20 times all over the word and this was definitely top 3. The guides took us out and led the way so we could see everything the reef had to offer. The boat was plenty big and the cooler full of free water and beer was a great end to the morning. We ended in the beautiful West Bay Beach and asked for our ride back to pick us up a few hours later so we could enjoy it. That was no problem and Alex quickly accommodated us. I would highly recommend this tour!
