Over approximately six hours, you’ll travel through some of Roatán’s most beautiful and least-visited waters, exploring reefs, a shipwreck, secluded cays and beaches, with the unforgettable highlight of snorkeling near nurse sharks at Pigeon Cay.

Your adventure includes 3 snorkeling stops, each offering a different experience.

Your first stop is Fort Morgan Cay, in the historic Port Royal area. Once frequented by pirates and privateers sailing the Caribbean, these waters now hide a fascinating attraction beneath the surface: a sunken ship resting on the seafloor, surrounded by coral and marine life.

Next, you’ll explore the Blue Channel in Roatán’s East End, a natural underwater corridor with clear Caribbean water, coral formations, and colorful tropical fish. Far from the island’s busier snorkeling sites, it offers a peaceful and beautiful setting to explore the reef.

Between stops, fishing rods are available on board for guests who would like to try a little fishing along the way.

Then comes the highlight of the adventure: Pigeon Cay and the nurse sharks.

In warm, shallow, crystal-clear Caribbean water, you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel near these remarkable animals in their natural environment. There are no cages or barriers—just an unforgettable encounter in one of the most remote and spectacular parts of Roatán.

No diving certification is required, making this an exceptional experience for guests who want the excitement of a shark encounter without being certified scuba divers.

Your final stop is Jade Beach on Barbareta Island, a secluded stretch of white sand and turquoise water where you can swim, relax, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before heading back.

If you would like to have lunch during the day, your captain can include an optional stop at a local restaurant. Lunch is not included in the tour price and is paid directly at the restaurant, giving you the freedom to decide how you would like to spend your time.
