This Roatan Zip Line Canopy Tour is for anyone over the age of 5, under 300lbs, adventurous, and in moderate physical condition.
So... don't let your age or ability be an obstacle.

Our groups are small, our guides are experienced and our trips are always memory makers! South Shore Canopy Zip line Tour has a changing area, restrooms, and a snack bar where you can purchase cold drinks such as beer, water, and soft drinks.

We have a shaded area for you to rest and refresh yourself after your Roatan zip Line adventure.

South Shore Canopy Tours is owned and operated by the Warren Family, who were born and raised on Roatan Island. Meet Kirby, Jason, and their Dad, Curby Warren Sr. All three Warren's went to High School at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, VA. and attended college in the USA. They all worked together in the grocery store business at Warrens Supermarket in Coxen Hole. Better known to those who live here as Casa Warrens! After 34 years in the grocery business, the family decided to lease the store and established South Shore Zip Line in 2005 on family land.

After traveling to Costa Rica to find a proper architect and engineer, they hired Mr. Jose Manuel Pizarro, Architect and Engineer for Linea vertical Co in Costa Rica certified by the Costa Rican Tourist Board. He came to Roatan to work alongside local carpenters and built what is now known as South Shore Zip Line. Enjoying the tourist business, the Warren's hope to focus on more ECO-friendly projects like this in the future.

All groups or individuals are instructed by our professional English speaking staff regarding how to put on the harness, latching onto the cable, and how to brake if you want to slow down while zipping along the cable. Safety measures are discussed as well before connecting to the cable lines. Our Zip Lines include two cables. One cable is used for attaching your harness and pulley for easy gliding from one platform to the other. The second cable is simply for attaching emergency clips. Our friendly staff is happy to accompany you throughout the zip line until you are ready to try one of the lines yourself!

Although professional photos are provided, the guides are also willing to use your camera to photograph your adventure.

Tour is 3 Kilometers Long There are 13 zip line cables not including the emergency cables. 16 platforms await you at different levels of the tour. The maximum length of the cable is 1300 ft. with the highest point being over 100 ft. The duration of the tour is between 60 and 90 minutes.
